We would personally like to thank you for choosing Pawsitive Life to look after your precious pup. Our dog daycare and training hub has been awarded the highest standard of license within the doggy day care community and along with our fun, totally pawsome vibe, we take your dogs safety, mental and physcial well being very seriously. Every dog in our care is considered family.
The following consents are required as part of The Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018 and must be reviewed and agreed to for each pet you wish to come to Pawsitive Life Dog Daycare
Veterinary Release Terms & Conditions
Authorisation for Pawsitive Life Doggy Daycare and their employees.

Pawsitive Life may act in the my absence as guardian of my dog and may perform or take any action which they deem necessary in order to protect and keep in good health the my dog. In the event of an emergency situation Pawsitive Life have the authority to make important healthcare related decisions on my behalf, in the instance that the I cannot be contacted and the matter is a dog welfare issue – in collaboration with our partnered vets.

If the my vet is not available or my dog cannot be seen at the my registered vet, I authorises Pawsitive Life Dog Daycare to use the following vet which is registered with them as the license holder, for treatment, advice and emergencies

I give Pawsitive Life Day Care permission to transport my pet(s) to the above veterinarian and authorise treatment in the event of an emergency or sickness. If this veterinarian is not available, I authorise Pawsitive Life Day Care to transport my pet(s) to a veterinarian of choice and authorise treatment. If emergency care is needed after regular office hours, my pet(s) may be taken to the nearest Veterinarian Emergency Clinic/Hospital. My dog may be transported with other dogs in a Pawsitive Life’s vehicle. I agree that Pawsitive Life cannot be held liable for death or injury to their dog in the event of a motor vehicle accident.

During my absence, Pawsitive Life Day Care will be caring for my pet(s). In the event of an emergency, I authorise the registered veterinarian to administer medical treatment and will be responsible for payment to the veterinarian upon my return.
In the event of requiring emergency treatment, I agree that the designated emergency vet of Pawsitive Life is authorised to treat. In any other circumstances I will be contacted and treatment/appointments will take place through my dog’s regular registered vet.

Myself, or my designated main point of contact must be contacted to give consent for euthanasia in ALL circumstances where this is recommended as the course of action by a veterinary professional. Should the myself and the dog’s emergency contact not be contactable, veterinary advice will be followed. In the unfortunate circumstances of an emergency, where warranted Pawsitive Life vows to keep a record of all euthanasia and the identity of the qualified veterinarian that carried it out.

I agree to be responsible for all charges including, but not limited to, vet fees, extra visit fees and transportation fees. I agree to authorise a veterinarian to euthanize my pet in extreme circumstances after all reasonable attempts have been made to reach me or my emergency contact.
I agree that Pawsitive Life Day Care is released from all liability related to transportation to and from veterinarian and treatment for sickness or emergency. This release will remain valid for all current and future visits unless a new release is signed.

Pawsitive Life may hold in possession the keys to my home and I am responsible for making arrangements with my own insurers with this regard
Medication and Preventative Treatment
I agree to ensure that my dog/s will be kept up to date on all vaccinations, de-worming and de-fleaing.
If fleas, ticks or lice are noticed on the my dog, I will receive immediate communication to seek advice from my vet. Pawsitive Life will not administer medication without the my consent. If I cannot be contacted the dog will be monitored and isolated if appropriate, until the dog is collected from day care.

At Pawsitive Life, we are more than happy to administrate medication. When you become a daycare client, we will make comprehensive notes on our online portal, on your dogs’ requirements. If your dog requires medication, we will require vets’ instructions on the medication on how to administer.

Medicines instructed to be given to my dog during day care at Pawsitive Life by myself will be stored, used and disposed of in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer. Medicines will only be administered to my dog with my consent following veterinary advice.

Prior to picking up our clients’ dog we will require EXACT notes on how much, how often and what exactly the medication is for. Our senior staff are more than happy to accommodate to this.

I have informed the staff at Pawsitive Life Doggy Daycare of the MEDICATIONS required for all known health issues and I understand the staff will have followed my instructions given to them, when giving my dog his prescribed medication.
I am fully aware that if my dog becomes ill whilst taking his medication at Pawsitive Life Doggy Daycare that I am responsible for any further veterinary treatment and that Pawsitive Life Doggy Daycare and its staff are not liable in any way. I have read the above terms and conditions and fully agree and understand them.

I give consent for any medication described on my booking form, or any medication prescribed to my dog by a vet in my absence, to be administered to my dog by the person caring for my dog.
​
If my dog requires preventative treatment, I give my consent that this is given as described in the Vaccination Log, under the direction of a veterinarian.
​
If there is evidence of external parasites on my dog during their stay (i.e. fleas, ticks, lice, etc) I give my consent for my dog to be treated with an appropriate product authorised by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate and licensed for used in the UK. Treatment will be discussed with a veterinarian before administering.
Dog participation and activities
We take time to get to know every dog personally, so we understand your dogs’ behaviours and characteristics.
Like us humans, dogs also want time and space to just be dogs for a little while. To run around with their buddies, talk about how weird we are and just connect with their true doggy selves.
We provide structure play for your dog(s) each day where they are never unattended. Our daily programme will consist of a rotation of each doggy zone including the chill zone, play zone, outdoor enclosure, countryside walks, so that each dog has a different experience and sensory zone to explore.​ As such, we require the following consent to ensure your dog gets the best experience at Pawsitive Life daycare.

For dogs under and over one year, by sending my dog to Pawsitive Life, I consent to Pawsitive Life matching my dog to a group based on age, play style, temperament and size to ensure their experience is best suited at Pawsitive Life. I consent to Pawsitive Life making this decision based on the individual dog.

I explicitly confirmed that my dog has no record of aggressive or anti-social behaviour and I have made a full and frank disclosure of any characteristic or trait that might make their dog unsuitable for socialising with other dogs.
​
Should my dog be deemed to be unsuitable by Pawsitive Life, Pawsitive Life reserves the right to cancel the booking indefinitely, with immediate effect.

I consent that crates may be used for rest breaks and feeding if required and in the event of exceptional circumstances to maintain dog and human safety as appropriate and only if absolutely necessary, my dog may be placed in a crate for a limited time. Dogs will not be placed in a crate for longer than one hour in any 8 hour period as this is the guidance under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals)(England) Regulations 2018 – Statutory Guidance for providing day care for dogs.

Pawsitive Life does not supply dog food. If I supply my dog with a daily meal whilst at Pawsitive Life then I understand my dog will be fed in a separated area in isolation from other dogs.
​
By attending Pawsitive Life, I consent for Pawsitive Life to feed their dog food supplied by myself.
​
All dogs who attend Pawsitive Life partake in an enrichment programme that involves socialisation, play, scents, snacks and interaction and by sending my dog to Pawsitive Life, I consent to my dog partaking in these activities, appropriate adjustments will be made to allow the participation of dogs with special requirements.

I give consent for my dog for my dog to be cleaned and brushed during doggy daycare
​
I give consent that my dog can be kept in the same rooms/area as any other dogs who are not from my household.
I give my consent for my dog to be allowed access to outside areas (i.e. enclosure, enclosed field, open fields) with other dogs who are not part of my household

I give my consent for my dog to be walked with other dogs not from my household. Dogs will be familiarised with each other beforehand.
I give consent for my dog to be involved in enrichment games/mental stimulation, such as treat scatter, snuffle mats, puzzle bowls, etc.
Booking and Cancellations
Pawsitive Life operates a pay upon booking process.
Cancellations and rescheduling daycare sessions can be made by the client online, up to 48 hours before the booking. After 48 hours, any cancel or reschedule requests that are made within 48 hours prior to the booking are not subject to a refund. Pawsitive lifewho reserve the right to cancel the booking without refunding.
Pawsitive Life is closed on bank holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year.

Force Majeure. Neither party shall be in breach of this Contract nor liable for delay in performing, or failure to perform, any of its obligations under this Contract if such delay or failure result from events, circumstances or causes beyond its reasonable control.
Pawsitive Life Puppy Class
Terms & Conditions
We would personally like to thank you for choosing Pawsitive Life for puppy training.

Becoming a dog parent can be a pretty full-on experience with so much to learn and understand about your new puppy, but we believe it should be fun. At Pawsitive Life we are dedicated to helping you and your puppy start off on the right foot and grow in confidence together. We are here to guide you, focusing not only on your pup, but also on you as the dog parent. During our 6 week puppy class, we give you the skills and confidence needed to interpret your dog’s needs and behaviour, and to build a better relationship with them.

Please note session 1 is without dogs.

By agreeing to these terms and condition, you agree that you have read and clearly understood all of
our rules and abide by them.

Do not bring your dog if he/she is being treated for kennel cough.

Do not bring your dog if he/she has had sickness and diarrhoea in the last 3 days

Do not bring your dog if she is in season

Please discuss any behavioural problems with trainers before prior bookings

Please keep dogs on leads unless instructed to let them off

No choke chains, only flat collars or harnesses to be worn (this includes Haltis, slip leads or any “tool” that tightens when under pressure.

No harsh handling will be tolerated

The trainers hold the right to ask attendees to leave if they are disruptive, rude or use harsh handling. Course fees will not be refundable in these circumstances

We do not hold any responsibility for your vehicle and any damage is your responsibility.

We are not liable for or responsible for any injury to you or your dog whilst you are on site.

I understand that all activities in the classes are taken at my own risk and I accept all responsibility and agree to not bring any claim against the trainers or club.

Dogs are the handlers responsibility at all times

The trainers will do their upmost to make sure handler and dogs are safe whilst in our classes, making sure the handler understands what is being asked of them and checking the equipment is safe.

Please wear sensible footwear and clothing

Please pick up after your dog and use the bins provided

Any sessions missed are non refundable unless rearranged by Pawsitive Life
